Dear
Prospective Patients:
I’d like to share with you my story on how I found EECP therapy
and what my personal results were with it. EECP is a non-invasive
answer for the relief of my persistent circulatory conditions. Even
though prescribed medication in ever increasing strength was taken,
the edema build in the legs, feet and ankles, made the skin so
taught that it split open. Fluid restricted breathing and angina
ensued. The strong medication produced side effects for which
additional medication was recommended. Invasive surgery was
suggested to either implant a pacemaker or a heart transplant was
suggested.
At this juncture, alternative treatment solutions were researched
and EECP was found. Through a course of EECP sessions, edema in the
legs, ankles and feet dissipated, knee and ankle joints became less
pressured, and angina diminished there by reducing my nitroglycerin
intake.
For me the successful EECP treatments were a more humane approach
to a better quality of life while still no less aggressive then
invasive techniques.
Now I will be able to take my energetic children on vacations
that require my energetic participation. EECP has definitely made a
difference for me.
Thank you Kronos Cardia USA for your therapy.
Sincerely,
Catherine S.

Dear Prospective Patients;

I am not the typical patient for Enhanced External
Counterpulsation Therapy (EECP). I have been fortunate to be
very healthy and exercise on regular bases.
I found out about EECP from a work associate of mine that had
been successfully treated for heart disease through EECP. I
decided to understand more about the process for a friend that also
was having heart trouble. I was very impressed with the
results that my co-worker was obtaining and felt my friend might be
just as fortunate. As I learned more about the treatment I
felt that it would also have benefits to healthy athletes. I
ask Dr Ghaly about these benefits and he encouraged me to try EECP.
I travel a good deal with my job so a regular schedule of
treatment was not possible. I really wanted to see if the
treatment would have any effect on my running endurance, speed and
recovery times. I was only able to arrange treatment on a
limited basis and had 2 treatments the first week followed by a week
gap then 3 treatments the third week. The results the fourth
week was astounding. After just 5 treatments I saw a 15%
improvement in my 10 kilometer running time, I was able to extend my
distances and the recovery time was cut by 50%. I have not
been able to maintain a regular treatment schedule and get one or
two treatments every two weeks, but I feel great and my improvement
in running ability is limited by muscle and joint development and
not cardiovascular. I hope to be able to in the future
schedule the time for a complete treatment sequence with a focused
exercise routine and see if I can run a 5 minute mile before I turn
50 in two years. At 48 I had a stress test with the results
showing comparable to someone twenty years younger. These
results occurred after just 8 treatments. It makes me want to
continue the EECP treatments and recommendations of Dr. Ghaly.
Thank you Dr. Ghaly and Kronos Cardia USA, for your technology
and treatments;
Cordially yours,
Larry Knauer
